How to increase the available date range on report

This question has been answered by rfancella

Hi All gurus,

On the report page of BigBrother, we can set the reporting date-range. The start/end date on our BigBrother can only be set to upto 2010 (see screen below). How can I make it to report for 2012 and beyond?

Any help will be much appreciated!!!

Michael

  • Micheal,

    Here is how I did it.

    I have the newest free version.

    Edit the file [BBHOME]/www/help/bb-rep.html

    From line 95:

    <SELECT NAME="start-yr">

    <OPTION VALUE="2011">2011

    <OPTION VALUE="2012" SELECTED>2012

    <OPTION VALUE="2013">2013

    <OPTION VALUE="2014">2014

    <OPTION VALUE="2015">2015

    <OPTION VALUE="2016">2016

    </SELECT>

    And also from line 153:

    <SELECT NAME="end-yr">

    <OPTION VALUE="2011">2011

    <OPTION VALUE="2012" SELECTED>2012

    <OPTION VALUE="2013">2013

    <OPTION VALUE="2014">2014

    <OPTION VALUE="2015">2015

    <OPTION VALUE="2016">2016

    </SELECT>

    Hope this helps!

  • Hello Michael,

    just saw your question.

    look at bb-home/web/bb-rep.html and add the year.

    For the trends: add it to hostsvc_trendperiod.

  • This is exactly the answer I already gave.

    Pitty no reaction is given.......

  • Alfons,

    Agreed. Out paths were slightly different. But, I agree, no reaction. Oh well, that was almost a year ago. He probably either fixed and forgot or is long gone. If you look at his profile, created on the same day he last logged in. Good luck to you Michael. It's a testament to our need for 'instant gratification'.
