Has anyone come up with a solution to monitor a disk volume whcih changes machines, in an automated fail-over configuration existing in a clustered environment? Whenever I apply monthly patches to the servers in this cluste, one of the drives (configured in only one of the cluster's machines BB clients, goes to "...drive not found" when the Windows 2003 server reboots, following monthloy patch maint. I assume there could be a script to remove the drive from the BB's config when it is not found but that poses the risk of having the drive unavaible to all the machines in the cluster and no one would be aware of this (assuming the script is deployed on all the BB clients in the cluster).

I hope this makes sense. Thanks.
