do u know how to update this enclosure firmware? i cant find under https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-id/product-support/product/poweredge-r730xd/drivers
any idea?

Hi,
There is no separate firmware for the enclosure for the R730 - R730XD. It is located in Backplane(together). That's why you can't see a separate update. However, I couldn't see any new firmware version for backplane.

i have another R730XD but it shows version firmware: 3.xx
so it available to update.. but i am not sure. or just update the bios will update the firmware backplane as well?

Please update iDRAC and BIOS together also check automatic update as below screenshots. I'm not sure but in support site I couldn't see a new BP fw version.

I think he meant LCC (LifeCycle Controller)
