How can i Upgrade "Ethernet 10G 4P X520/I350 rNDC" Firmware to 22.5.7

I have a Dell R740 with the Ethernet 10G 4P X520/I350 rNDC Card installed.

If i use the old firmware update file for 22.0.9 Release, the NVM Update Tool finds the card and would update the firmware.

Num Description                          Ver.(hex)  DevId S:B    Status
=== ================================== ============ ===== ====== ==============
01) Intel(R) Gigabit 4P X520/I350 rNDC 1.103(1.67)   1521 00:001 Up to date
02) Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 4P X520/I350 64.40(40.28   10FB 00:024 Up to date
    rNDC
03) Intel(R) Ethernet Server Adapter      N/A(N/A)   1521 00:135 Update not
    I350-T4                                                      available

If i do the same with the 22.5.7 Firmware, the update file claims, that the package is not compatible with my system.

And a manual start of the NVM Update Tools show this

Num Description                          Ver.(hex)  DevId S:B    Status
=== ================================== ============ ===== ====== ==============
01) Intel(R) Gigabit 4P X520/I350 rNDC    N/A(N/A)   1521 00:001 Update not
                                                                 available
02) Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 4P X520/I350    N/A(N/A)   10FB 00:024 Update not
    rNDC                                                         available
03) Intel(R) Ethernet Server Adapter      N/A(N/A)   1521 00:135 Update not
    I350-T4                                                      available

i tried a update with iDrac Enterprise Module, but this fails to.

How can i log the reason for not compatible.

Is there any way for force the update?

Hello,

Please check current and available firmware versions in lifecycle Controller like in this video How to Update all Firmware of your PowerEdge using the Dell Website and Lifecycle Controller | Dell US

Then try to update using the LCC.

Hope that helps!
