PowerEdge R650xs BIOS update/upgrade
Hello
We have a Dell poweredge R650xs running Windows server 2019 Standard.
We need to get the bios updated from the current version "1.10.2" to the at least 1.11.2 per our security scans but Im seeing 1.13.2 out there which was just released a few months back (Mar 2024).
Two quick questions-
1- Never upgraded the bios previously on this server. Can I just download the exe (BIOS_T3H20_WN64_1.13.2.EXE) file that I see out there and run that as administrator from file explorer or ? Guessing a reboot will take place.
2 - Is it safe to jump from BIOS version 1.10.2 version to 1.13.2?

2. You can jump straight to the lastest, and make sure BIOS is also up to date.

Download and Run, reboot is must plan and then upgrade.
2 - Is it safe to jump from BIOS version 1.10.2 version to 1.13.2?
can jump to latest don't worry.
