Windows IOT upgrade on Edge Gateway 3001
Helllo guys, I'm using Dell Edge Gateway 3000 and 3001. I'm working on solution based on UWP (Universal Windows Platform) and I need update application via sideloading with automatic updates. Unfortunately I have default Windows version 10.0.14393.1593 (2016 LSTB) but this feature need 10.0.17763.0 or higher. From the other side I tried to upgrade OS in Windows tools (Windows Update) but no success (contact to your administrator to update Windows. Another approach was upgrade from ISO - i download ISO from Microsoft and install it by RDP. But after restart device is not recognized in network but only is on DHCP clients list with strange name. In the fact in Dell OS Recovery Tools when I put in Service Tag in Advanced Setting and I have only LTSB 2016 version to install. Is there somebody to help me in this?

Have you tried joining the windows insiders and installing their ISO to pro or enterprise? I know a couple people that have done that to breal away from the OS they were using. 1 or 2 even left insuders shorty after, I dont suggest that as to me thats uncool, but to each their own. Also, do you not have other downloads via your visual studio subscription? Can always buy an action pack or find someone who has an action pack and can help you out with another OS and genuine lic.Hope this helps a bit Also, how are you liking UWP?
