Hello, in general, basic security is enough.

Basic security consists of:

1. Keep your device physically secure - no other security measures really matter if your device(s) are stolen.

2. Use good passwords - I recommend using strings of words, punctuation, and numbers - cat balloon (deskspace)3 is considered significantly more secure than using a common word and a string of numbers (eg. Lord123!).

3. Use internet services such as Ublock and (If you're REALLY paranoid - NoScript) and do not follow unknown links

4. Use disk encryption such as Windows Bitlocker or Dell's Encryption software

5. Keep Windows, your computer BIOS, and all devices updated

6. Use some sort of Anti-virus software, Windows Defender is generally good enough, but I'd add ClamAV for a second opinion.

IN general, mindful security is more important than a security first approach. Laziness wins the day, so keeping your security practices simple is ALWAYS the preferred way.
