is the AIO supposed to be drawing air into the case or blowing out through the top?

Logic dictates blowing air out when it's installed on the top.
Fan orientation is as per this picture: R16 Service manual
There should be an arrow on the side of the fan to show direction of airflow, but if not a general rule of thumb is that the side with the cross bars where the wire runs through is the exhaust side of the fan.

I have a Top of the Line Aurora R16. I can confirm it blows out.
In my opinion, another intake fan would help a bunch.

I have a Top of the Line Aurora R16. I can confirm it blows out.
